Luckily the project been recently receiving some extra support and therefore it will be much more easy for you to join one of the trips now. SPECIAL EXHIBITION BOAT TOUR!!

During the exhibition trip, boat tours in three different routes are organized.

It is not so easy just to step on a classic boat and make a short trip. Why don't you join the trip, experience and enjoy the Dutch scenery from WATER?

'Water memory mapping' is registered as one of events of '2005 EU-Japan Year of People to People Exchanges'. Although numbers of passengers are limited, I hope that there will be some new encounters of people during the trip.

The boat tour will be updated everyday on this site, it will be fun to let your friends or family know your experience 'live' from the boat!!!

how the boat looks like

TOUR A: MAY 22nd SUNDAY from AMSTERDAM to HAARLEM

We will travel along the North Sea Canal -viewing the landscape lower than the sea level- to Haarlem. We will anchor along the river Spaarne which functioned as the essential waterway to the establishment of the city back in early 13th centry.

We will ship out at 15.00pm (meet at 14.30pm) from Amsterdam and plan to arrive in Haarlem around 20.00pm.

It is possible that you take your food and drink with you to the boat. If you wish, you can get simple dinner (buffet style, tables and chairs are not set) + one drink by paying 8 euro extra.

Meeting point: Science center NEMO (the pier) at 14.30pm check on the map

Price: Adult 10euro Children 5euro Infant (under 3years) free of charge (including tax and transportation fee from Haarlem to Amsterdam)

*the return trip will be with the NS train, it will approximately take 15 minutes. Train tickets will be provided on the day.

TOUR B: MAY 23rd MONDAY from HAARLEM to GOUDA

&partkeyFrom Haarlem, we will travel through Lisse -known for tulips- , Leiden -the oldest university town- and to Gouda -famous for cheese-.

We will ship out at 10.00am (meet at 9.30am) from Haarlem and plan to arrive in Gouda around 17.00pm.

It is possible that you take your food and drink with you to the boat. If you wish, you can get simple lunch (buffet style, tables and chairs are not set) + one drink by paying 8 euro extra.

Meeting point: in front of Tylersmuseum at 9.30am check on the map

Passenger capacity: 18
Price: Adult 15 euro Children 7.5euro Infant (under 3years) free of charge (including tax and transportation fee from Gouda to Haarlem)

*The return trip will be with the NS train, it will approximately take about 75 minutes with one transfer at Hauge central station . Train tickets will be provided on the day.

TOUR C: MAY 26th THURSDAY !!!!SAILING!!!! from ROTTERDAM to WILLEMSTAD

We will sail with the help of Dutch former skippers. You will be able to view the beautiful landscape with windmills of Kinderdijk (UNESCO World Heritage) from water.

We will ship out at 10.00am (meet at 9.30am) from Rotterdam and plant to arrive in Willemstad around 17.00pm.

It is possible that you take your food and drink with you to the boat. If you wish, you can get simple lunch (buffet style, tables and chairs are not set) + one drink by paying 8 euro extra.

MEETING POINT: at the boat which lays in the Havenmuseum at 9.30am check on the map


Passenger capacity: 16
Price: Adult 20 euro Children 10euro Infant (under 3years) free of charge (including tax and transportation fee from Willemstad to Rotterdam)

*The return trip will be with the bus, it will approximately take about 60-90 minutes to Rotterdam central station. Please not that the arrival time in Rotterdam might change from 19.00 to 20.00pm, depending on the traffic situation on the road.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

1: tours will be carried out in case of rain.
2: in case of extreme bad weather, tours might be unexpectedly cancelled with the judgment of the captain of the ship.
3: in case of 2, charge will be fully returned.
4: planned time schedule for tours might slightly changed due to the unexpected water traffic on the day.
5: if you bring your own food, you can still buy drinks in the boat.
6: applications will be accepted until the booking reaches the passenger capacity.
7: cancellation
TOUR A: in case of cancellation on and after 15th of May, half of the charge will be returned.
TOUR B: in case of cancellation on and after 16th of May, half of the charge will be returned.
TOUR C: in case of cancellation on and after 18th of May, half of the charge will be returned.

If you book with a group, please note or tell the contact information of the person in charge and full names and ages of the rest. You can pay the charge through bank transfer within a week from the date of the recipient of acceptation of the booking. You will receive details then, concerning how to transfer the fee.
